The course covers:
- Introduction to sustainability within IT and its drivers, including legislation, market trends, and stakeholders.
- The size of the problem/potential: Facts about IT’s negative impacts and why IT is a significant contributor to CO2 emissions.
- Pros and cons of working sustainably with IT.
- What sustainable IT looks like, the role of standards and regulations, and an overview of ESG-IT standards.
- Implementing sustainability in IT: Guidance on getting started and developing an implementation plan.
- Specific dos and don’ts for the most common IT roles, including CIOs, architects, project managers, and software developers.

The spoken word, written material and certification are in English.

Lasse Borris Sørensen
Lasse Borris Sørensen is Sustainability Project Coach & CEO at Plan A ApS, who also leads the Nordic chapter of SustainableIT.org as well as the global community on Sustainable IT Projects under the auspices of SustainableIT.org. Plan A is also an expert in sustainable projects, thus combining sustainable value creation in projects with a sustainable approach to IT – a 360-degree solution. Lasse has worked on sustainable and adaptable projects for 20,000+ hours, taught 3,000+ students, and certified 800+ persons.
Ann Rosenberg
Ann Rosenberg is a co-founder of the UN SDG Ambition and has 25 years of experience in sustainability in the business world. Ann is Executive Vice President at SustainableIT.org, Executive Sustainability Tech Advisor, Board Member, author, and Tedtalk speaker. Ann is dedicated to spreading knowledge about the UN's SDGs.

If you cancel your registration four weeks or less before the course starts, 50% of the fee plus VAT will be charged. If you cancel your registration two weeks or less before the course starts, the full fee plus VAT will be charged.
